Too seriously

A small thought in between: I think that one of the problems of our world is that economists talk too much to each other and that non-economists take them too seriously.

The same applies to politicians.

And journalists?

This is not to say that I'm against serious economic analysis. On the contrary.

I received a comment from Zdenek who said that my message is exactly to the point. "Economists do talk only to each other. Well said. In fact, it is even more bizarre. Cambridge economists talk to Cambridge-like economists, index-number economists talk to index-number economists, macroeconomists talk macroeconomists, development to development and so on..."

I highly agree with it.

Hypocrites, rumour-monger and Demagogues are rife in my country.
